West Jakarta SDA Sub-department Head, Purwanti Suryandari stated, seepage occurred because of high water pressure during heavy rain on Wednesday (1/1). Thus it caused Sekretaris River and Gendong River can't hold the water.
"It should be concreted over to repair it permanently and we will start it today," he conveyed, Wednesday (1/22).
Joint Personnel Repair Cipinang River's Dam in Kramat JatiAccording to him, his side starts permanent repair on that day because water level is not too high, thus it makes the work easier. His side targets to finish repairing the walls on Thursday (1/23).
"We deploy 15 personnel to repair it. Hopefully it can finish tomorrow," he mentioned.
